Quick question for anyone who has half an idea...

Can anyone recommend a decent place for hosting my site? I want for something free or reasonably cheap, and no ads. I don't know where to start here. I'm not looking to register a domain name or anything. I just want to do more with my site. Envy.nu runs so s l o w l y and inefficiently that I literally can't browse through it most of the time. Besides, it's infamous for "those vile teen girl sites." I only require 20 megs or so of space. Ja, ja. Danke in advance.

Nope. Not the Seasons album. Heh. The classic Switched-On Bach. Recorded when Wendy was still Walter, but the copy I have is credited to Wendy. The name must've been updated when it was released on CD.

I've been looking and finally found a place that would probably work out for me. (Although I have no idea when I'd get around to moving my site. Eeek.) If it doesn't go through, I might take you up on the offer. ;)

Yeah, but it seems like everyone there has the same problems as I have with Envy. I might check it out again, though.

Didja ever hear the version of "Peter And The Wolf" that she recorded with Weird Al Yankovic? Puts the Bowie version to shame. To shame, I say!

I don't know about the Weird Al part, but it sounds interesting. Anything that shames Bowie works for me, although the Serious Moonlight tour pretty much speaks for itself.

Really? I loved "Stranger"...didn't find it to be nearly as much of a chore as the rest of the Heinlen that I've read. Definitely one of my fave sci-fi novels ever. Fun to contrast and compare with the neo-fascist likes of "Starship Troopers".I'm going through an LJ crisis as well: not whether or not I should keep it, but what belongs in it. More later.Phew! I was wracking my brains trying to think if I'd included something nasty or suggestive in my last email that would have upset you. If it's simple procrastination, though, no need to apologise. I am the world's worst human being when it comes to returning phone calls. I actually should be returning one right now!

remember. even saying nothing tends to say something. if you wanted to, i'm sure you could easily say that entries based around random nonsense, in fact point out the hollowness ov western popular culture, and where culture exclaims its meaning and ends up hollow, you instead embrace the meaningless, which results in meaning, through intent, blah blah blah. just gotta talk it up right?anywayz, your journal's one ov the few reasons why i still click my "friends page" button anymore. keep up the dada terror!
